Russia’s commitments to the WTO include, first and foremost, its commitments in the goods and services sector (tariff and non-tariff restrictions).
In the services sphere Russia undertook to implement its commitments in over 50 different services sectors.

To some of key sectors Russia opens the access to foreign persons for example in telecommunications. At the same time Russia restricts access to other important markets, for example, to the insurance sector. Russian translation of Russia’s commitments to the WTO contains several important technical inaccuracies, for instance, related to banking sector. This may occur business risks.
Placed below are analytical overviews (full versions and summaries) with legal analysis of Russia’s commitments under separate services sectors. All the reviews have been drawn up using the same pattern. Though certain data is duplicated, such a uniform standard enables any representative of each of the service sectors to have a complete understanding of Russia’s commitments in its relevant sector instantaneously.
